Art and Environment The Art and Environment Committee is a group of parishioners who volunteer their time to adorn and prepare the sacred space of Holy Spirit for the changing of the church's calendar. Throughout the Liturgical year, they come together to enhance our surroundings for the seasons such as Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, or any other special feast of the church. This does not require any special talents other than a willingness to serve.

The archives of the Ushers Club at Holy Spirit Parish list its’ first president, Mr. Frank Milan, as having taken office in 1953. That means 2013 is our 60th year of service! The by-laws state “the purpose of the Club is to assist the Pastor and his Associates in the duties relevant to services in church.”
We have three teams of ushers, one team is assigned to each weekend’s Mass schedule. Ushers choose which Mass they wish to be assigned to. We offer hospitality, assistance, and taking the collection of the offering at weekend liturgy. In addition, the Ushers Club serves as a men’s club, with business meetings normally on the second Wednesday of each month, followed by a robust fellowship time. All men of the parish age 21 and older are welcome to join the Club. We look forward to meeting with any parishioners, including women, interested in the ministry of ushering.
